A celebration of everything that grows. Trees leaning over a path, wildflowers nobody planted, mushrooms pushing up overnight, seaweed left behind by the tide. But it's just as much about the getting there as what you find. The wrong turning that turns out right. Boots deep in something you'll be picking off for days. The particular green of a hedgerow in July, the smell of it after rain. Even the ordinary stuff, whatever's coming up through a crack in the pavement on the school run, refusing to wait for permission.

Illustrated by Ray whose work can be seen here. Ray is an illustrator and brand designer based in Devon, working mostly with surf, skate, adventure and outdoor-led brands.

Her illustrations aren't really about what a place looks like, they're about what it felt like to be there, drawn from her own time hiking and out exploring wild places rather than worked up from reference photos.

We chose her for Go Where Things Grow because that's exactly what the design needed, not a tidy botanical print, but something with the same overlap and mess you actually find crouched down looking at a hedgerow. Trees, flowers, mushrooms and seaweed all crowding into each other in one circle, because that's closer to how it really looks than anything neater would be.

100% Organic Cotton: Wash at 30 degrees. Inside out, always. This matters more than it sounds. The print is water-based ink, which is better for the planet and better for your skin, but it needs a little respect in return. Turn it inside out before every wash and it'll stay sharp for years.

Do not iron the print directly. If you need to iron, do it inside out or use a cloth between the iron and the fabric. No tumble dryer. Hang to dry. It'll thank you for it.

Why it's made this way: Water-based inks contain no PVC, no phthalates, no the-stuff-you-don't-want-next-to-your-skin. Conventional screen printing uses plastisol inks that sit on top of the fabric and crack over time. Water-based inks bond with the fibres. They feel better, last longer, and don't end up in the wash water as microplastics. It's a small thing.
